Dr. A. F. Paghdiwala graduated from New Jersey Dental School in 1979.
He has been in private practice since 1979, and has served the Philadelphia area since 1981.
He is proficient in all phases of general dentistry, and gives special emphasis on cosmetic dentistry. He has spent hours on continuing education and regularly attends courses to keep abreast with latest advances in dentistry.
He has also been a pioneer in the dental laser field. Way back in 1985, when lasers had not yet been introduced in dentistry, Dr. Paghdiwala was certified in laser surgery. He then received a National Institute of Health research grant for developing a laser dental drill, which led to his obtaining a US Patent in 1995.
Dr. Paghdiwala has published several papers in dental journals and has spoken at seminars all over the country.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Philadelphia County Dental Society and Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Paghdiwala's wife Seema manages the dental office. They have three children: the eldest, a daughter, works in the creative writing field, the older son is in College and the younger son is in High School.
Seema Paghdiwala is the Office Manager and is responsible for keeping the office on track and ensuring that the wheels of the practice are running smoothly. She is also X-ray certified and can assist in all phases of dentistry.
Franny Jellyman is our front-desk receptionist and our financial coordinator. She has a very pleasant phone personality and is very proficient at handling Insurance and financial arrangements for patients.
Franny's husband works at an area hospital and is also an expert on motorcycles.
Sarah Meyerle is our dental assistant and is a trained, x-ray certified, experienced assistant. She is a great help to the doctor in providing efficient care and can take a lot of load off the doctor by performing important duties delegated to her.
Sarah has a two year old son.
